Ofna Spider diffs. How are they? What do they fit? - 02.21.2009, 06:37 PM

i have heard of these Spider diffs from time-to-time and they look like they are pretty nice. I am building a Mugen MBX5T right now and wondering if these diffs will fit. can anyone tell me if they will fit and what other kits the spider diffs fit? what are these diffs typically used for? it seems like i see alot of people using them in their conversions for some reason. can anyone explain?

I have one in my muggy chassis Lst2 1.5" extended. I'm running the 80 mm
2000kv Medusa with a 6S 8k 25C Maxamps and they work good. they are
very strong but it's made up of aluminum housing and a steel gear so it's on the heavy side. It has six side gears for a total of 8 unlike the traditional 6 gear setup. It fits just like any other center diffs, they have the length like the Hyper 7 and OCM Kaos.

I am running 35k but it's ballooning up the front tires so I need to put a heavier diff fluid on it.

Spider diffs come in the Hyper series of buggies/trugs. Many have the hypers and run the spiders. They will fit any where a std diff will fit. They are beefy ass diffs.
