i recently checked the afterburner out and i'm impressed i was gonna go with the MMM/neu combo but might change my mind?? thinking MMM/medusa while running 2 2s lipo 5k packs. i'll be running losi LPR's with panther gators if that matters? i have the buggy center diff with 46 tooth spur installed just need to know what pinion i should use would like to be around 40-45mph without getting to hot!!! thanks in advance for any info!!

would a 36-70 2000-2300kv motor be good enough for a truggy that is on the heavy side? i have room for a 70 but maybe not a 80? any advice??

also i have a question on gearing i'm using a 46 tooth spur but not sure about the pinion would like to go 40 to 45 had a tough time figureing out that speed calculator thing????

take some measurements and if you can fit the 80mm I would get that one, it will run cooler if you deceide to gear up

anyone have can length available for the 36-70 and 36-80 series motors in inches i've looked everywhere thanks

1 inch = 25.4mm

70mm = 2.7559"
80mm = 3.1496"

I don't know about the 036-080 but I believe the 036-070 has the shaft extending out the back something like 5mm...of course much of that could be cut if needed. My new 3660 "SE" motor has that as wheel wherase the older 036-060 (non-SE) motors didn't.

took some measurement today i have 3 1/2 inches from the back side of the motor plate to the steering post so i guess the 80 is the better choice have approx. 1/2 before it would hit the steering post! maybe a 70 is a better choice?
