RC 18 update - 03.30.2009, 03:13 PM

so I reveved my rc18 and I bought a Mamba Mico Pro combo from Bishop and they are doing good now quick service and shipping. When I ordered the combo I accidently ordered the wrong motor, I ordered the Hyperion long can yc-22 2850kv and I thought I had ordered the 5000kv version so with the stock 60/14 gearing and 3s lipo it would be good for small course racing max speed probubly 30 mph. I did have a small SNAFU with the pinion size the long can uses a 2.3mm pinion and the stock and short can pinion is a 2mm...that was a PITA I was able to get a vfew from All E Rc. With the 2850 motor it does run very cool

Is the hyperion a 28mm motor? If not, you should get a Neu/Medusa/ammo. They are are all great, with the usual order of performance.

I love my 18B which I have the truck body on. I also run the micro pro on 2s only.....We race in my friend's basement and even on 2s, the room gets pretty small fast. The car is v/durable considering the beating we give them.

Sweet, I love my 18. i beat the hell out of it. Holds up quite well, and can get quite a bit of air with a short run-up.
