Team Magic M1-B - 03.21.2009, 08:30 PM

Has anyone converted a Team Magic M1-B buggy? Thinking about doing one and wondering if any of the current motor mounts would work.

Thanks.

I've been wondering about this too - looks like a sweet buggy. I would really like to know if anyone has looked at doing the new B8RS. I think that one looks awesome! The body looks like it is pretty low though. Not sure what kind of battery you could fit under it. Does anyone know about that one too?

I think it would be very difficult - it uses odd sized diffs, has a funny layout and anything made of plastic will be the weakest things on the planet. (I know this from personal experience). Having said that though, that was in Britain (where plastics are strenuously tested due to the cold, and generally appalling weather), so it may not be so much of a problem in America.

This has made a lot of people very angry and has been widely regarded as a bad move.

I think I remember Mike mentioning that he did one once for someone. Shoot him a note. He might already have it figured out.
