close encounter of the V3 kind!

been racing with the same v3 in my rc8 for a few months now and saturday something strange happened. ran the car for a couple mins to set the trim in the street. got to the track and went to set the car down to race and the red led flashes after esc arms. had to one touch it right there. never happened to me before but seems strange. also changed from auto lipo to custom and the car felt considerably less "snappy". not completely sure what it is but am curious because the only changes i made were in the lvc and drag brake.
