hi flo65/all...well the traxxas ones look great but i have never used them, but i can tell you my 3906 e-maxx ive had for 8 years,
ive allways used the m.i.p shafts, in the last 8 years they have had one rebuild kit (barrel and pin) the drive cups have never worn out, the shafts will bend if you crash bad which is better than them snapping, cause you can run a bent shaft but not a broken one.
hammer and a vice will solve the bent shaft.
hope this helps.

hi
imo the plastic driveshafts are one reason for the relatively few problems of the diff in the new maxx or revos. they can flex a little under strong abuse and absorb some of the impact energy. maybe the the new summit driveshafts are even stronger.
i personally would go with the stockers or summit like driveshafts. they are cheap and easy to replace if needed too.

I found the Traxxas Driveshafts to be well built and good quality. Plus they are chrome and come with pretty blue boots... LOL But they are nice and the fit is perfect. They are pretty strong and resisted bending to my basher abilities.
I have used MIP's in the past and have a set coming for my Rustler. Their quality is always great and they are pretty strong. I have bent some of these although.
