Cool Slash Chase Onboard - 04.29.2009, 12:23 AM

For your entertainment... a little onboard video of me chasing some VXL Slashes around a tight oval.

Just click the 'download now' on the upper left on the page. If you have trouble with new windows coming up, you should close your browser and the download status box should be on your desktop. Any issues I'll try to help LMK.

Enjoy!

Nice video. Is that the Awesomaxx? I enjoyed how you kept cutting the corner to catch up to them...

Prong has always been one of my favorites. I always liked the tight rhythmic riffing and his vocals. They have newer albums out as well.

LOL you guys can like Prong, but I like that video. Very different. And I love seeing the suspension flex all the time! Thats a neat camera angle.
Thanks for sharing this!

never heard of prong but I'll check them out now. I like the suspension movement, it makes r/c real to me to see the suspension articulate like the big trucks. I like your vids, keep 'em coming

Prong sound a bit like old fear factory to me, but I could not have the volume up too high at work... I will have to jam out with them later!

For all those who guessed Prong, you win..... well, nothing.

That song is like the only one of theirs that got mainstream airplay, from around 1994.
My personal fav album is 'Beg To Differ'- total classic!

It was difficult keeping those darty Slashes in the frame, and the camera angle is actually much better than what it looks like mounted on my Mute. The other problem was, I was hooking up like velcro compared to the 2wd's, mine is spooled in the rear and I couldn't step it out at all! And first gear was all I could do-I tried 2nd a few times and I walked on them like crazy.. not that mine is super fast or anything. Only geared for mid 30s but I am limited by tire ballooning w the Zombie Max tires.

Nitrostarter wrote: "very different" --- that is what I was going for, glad ya noticed!

BTW these vids are RCM exclusives hehe- I'm not posting these anywhere else on the web.

Check these out also, some aerial vids taken from my bud's stupidly overpowered outrunner'd SuperCub, and my semi-overpowered inrunner'd Cub.

SuperCub high altitude- www.mediafire.com/download.php?y2nnyntnnjm

AirChase (my fav) www.mediafire.com/download.php?tymmzzfzjjd

RC has NEVER been so much fun- my FlyCamOne might be the best hundred bucks I ever spent. I think www.Hobby-Lobby.com has them for less now.

The only real complaint I have is the mic is not in sync with the video. The audio is hideous on my truck anyway, nothing but gear whine and 3 oversped fans, so for the "purists" who don't like music dubbed in, there is a reason I am doing it that way.

My FCO has seen -20F, been soaked (literally shaking water out of it) and otherwise taken a hell of a beating- it's like a Timex

Prong is very crunchy and rhythmic for the most part. He also delves into some interesting melodies at times. Another thing I find cool about Prong is the fact he was using pinch harmonics before everyone latched onto Zakk Wylde and tried to copycat the style. There is honestly not a single Prong album or song I do not like. Check them out, you won't be dissapointed.

Actually it's not a big lake, it's Oneida Lake- smack in the middle of NY state. Only about 7 x 21 miles and quite shallow as well. Snowmobilers paradise in the winter... drags, poker runs.... you name it.

Can you elaborate BL_?
I'm not bothering with YT so I can't help there, but I have noticed it's necessary for me to delete cookies on another browser or I get some bizarre error message and the file won't load on the page, other than that just one or two annoying ad windows, and that's because I'm using the free upload, not paid.

Forgot to say, if another member could make the file an email attachment and forward it to you, then you can bypass the page altogether.
