Bad bearing? - 05.29.2009, 06:17 PM

I'm taking the electronics out of my CRT .5 to sell and have been testing them to make sure nothing is wrong. I put some oil on the bearings and spun it by hand and thought I heard a noise, so I hooked it back up to the MM and the rear bearing is making quite a bit of noise. I have other motors that make the same noise but they all run perfectly and there's no slop in the bearings.

It sounds like it's bad, but it has very little use on it (no hard use) and there's no lateral play in it.

All I ever wanted was an honest weeks pay for an honest days work.
