what is going on with my MMM V3? - 05.20.2009, 02:50 AM

Hey guys it is late in NYC and I cant sleep so I figured I'd make my first post on here. I am not a newbie but am clueless after -some- testing as to what is wrong with my MMM.

I built my Savage Flux from ebay parts so I could use what is good and ditch what is bad, and I bought the normal MMM combo instead of the HPI label. Anyway, I have been running it on 4s with 20t pinion (used 3 times in 3-4 months) and I finally got some 3s packs to use. I went to change my pinion gear to 25T and did a single blip throttle test on the motor before installing and it worked fine. I installed everything back and took a 10 minute drive to go run it on an enormous open parking lot and I heard a glitchy noise. I thought my Spektrum was glitching. So I tried playing with wires...I braided the esc to Rx wire, my servo is a TG 7959 hitec so I thought maybe I need a bec. so I go to pick up my truck and blip the throttle again (the servo was working) and I notice the esc fan goes when I blip the throttle lol.

So... it seems like a glitching issue with the spektrum pro....but, why would the fan go on with the throttle? I use Trakpower 2s and flightpower 3s. What could be wrong here?

Oh..forgot to mention that when I blip the throttle you see the fan come on as per throttle input and the motor I guess moves slightly because the spur rocks a tic and then I stop. I also checked the light chart sticky above and re confirmed that the LED indicates I'm good to go but does not work anyway.
