I have several and really have no complaints. I do feel the rhino's are worth the extra money though.

i ordered 2 3s 5000mah 25c packs. i plan on using them in a kb45-8xl, so i will pull some serious amps from it for sure.
They say a good mechanic only needs 2 tools - WD40 & Duct tape. If it moves, and its not supposed to, duct tape. If it doesn't move, and its supposed to, WD40.

I'm running the flightmax in a savage xl with a Neu 1515 1y, geared for 50 mph.
6s 5000 30c runs just fine.

I have not run the flightmax yet, but the 4900 20c rhino lipos are very good cells, if a bit long... Seem underrated to me!

I run a 5s 4000mah one in my truggy and have never had it hit over 105 degrees/f when pushing the rig hard, even when the motor and ESC are getting hot. I like it A LOT
I like it.......I LIKE IT ALOT!!!!!!

I have 10 of them, ranging from 2S @ 500mAh to 4S @ 5000mAh, and I couldn't be happier...they are some of the best batteries on the market, and are THE best in their price range.
I have nothing against MaxAmps batteries, but their packs are way over-priced for what you get...the Zippies are much better, and far cheaper. I also don't have anything against TrueRC batteries, but their pack just don't put out the amps (C) that is needed and are also way over-priced. Just get the Zippy Flightmax batteries, and get the 30C packs if you can (if they are in stock).

They're fine batteries. Just AVOID the 4000mAh Flightmax 2s Hardcase ones. Those are ok if your application won't demand more than 50-60A continuous, but the terrible soldering makes them far below their rated "100A". Stay away from those and you should be fine. I ordered 6 packs and ALL 6 packs opened circuited.

Are you talking about the 2s? I've never seen the 4s..... The soldering issue is supposed to be fixed also...

Did you fix them? Or send them back? I would like to see the internals of those packs...

I ordered 4 of the 5000 2s 20C packs. 1 has a bad cell that I'm trying to revive. The good packs are nice, but you're screwed for returns. HC will not do anything at all without returning the pack... on your own dime.
