The battery tray size depends on your battery..

and you cant decide on a pinion until you figure out what voltage and motor your running. so start there.

Measure the packs and decide from there. Which packs are they?

if you are running brushless, you will want to invest in a DSM system. Brushless motors cause alot of interference with AM and FM radios. I have only found a range of about 150 feet tops with Brushless and an FM radio. DSM= no noticeable interference at all. what kind of motor mount do you have? your biggest concern when building the raze is balance if you want it to do well on the track, and fly pretty well in the air. I have a hyper 7, which is very similar to the raze. When I had the side mounting motor mount, I couldn't run 2x2s, because there was no real way to fit the lipos on both sides. If you have a vertical mount you can run 2 2s packs very easily.

Also, since you plan to run 4s(14.8v) You can use the Mamba Monster/2650Kv motor combo for a faster buggy and still have plenty of torque. If you already have the 2200, you could ask for a trade for a 2650 in the general discussion if u really wanted one.

With either castle motor, you will be pouring down tons of power, so beefing up your drivetrain isnt a bad idea either.
