Tekno motor mount question - 05.24.2009, 11:33 PM

http://www.teknorc.com/product_info....oducts_id=1035

I have a Savage X I converted using Dan Fisher's motor mount and while it works well I would like to get the motor down in the truck and lower the center of gravity. Does anyone have any experience with this motor mount and would it fit in the chassis of the Savage X? Also can Mike get these? I know he carries some Tekno products. As always thanks for your thoughts.

It may be a bit bulky to do what you want with it. You could "window" the tvp like the flux does and stick the motor out a bit. I made a simple L bracket mount that would allow a 36mm motor to fit almost on the stock nitro mount area and was adjustable thru 14-20t pinion with a 47t spur. If you go to the 44t flux spur you will have more adjustability than I did.

That is slick, that is the type of thing I would like to move too. I am running the 44 tooth spur to keep the gearing straight in my head and keep everything cool. Thanks for your input as always!

I have an XLT motor sitting around from Fine Design (Before I knew better). Is that about the same size as the motor you have there? And how much for one of your mounts? Thanks
