Has anybody make own trays for flux? I have pair 4s lipos and stock flux battery trays are a little bit thin for those lipos. So I wonder if there is somewhere trays which fits straight to flux or if somebody has made own trays.

PLEASE tell me your going to run a pair of 4S Lipos in parallel or your going to fry that ESC, its maximum capacity is 6S or just under 25v.

I can imagine a craft fellow such as myself would take a heat gun and some wooden wedges and heat the sides of the trays up and force the wedges together thus stretching the sides of the tray but maintaining the flat front. Or section them and rivet some al to extend them.

As for a drop in solution I am not aware of anything...

I'd definitely try what Linc said, its free, and if you're going to replace them anyway, why not?

This sounds a good idea. Heat gun could be the answer. Thanks I'll try stretching.

I ultimately did this for my battery trays. I found some nice big velco straps at my local ACE hardware that had a loop around hole. I reversed the battery trays so they would open up from the inside out, MUCH easier to get the batteries in and out. I also went ahead and cut the clips off as they were useless now with the trays reversed. I also put in some extra foam padding to prevent my Lipos from shifting around which helps prevent wear and tear on the wires. I also had to cut some bigger holes for the wiring to be routed as I didn't get very long leads on my SMC's and put some electric tape around the edges to prevent fraying of the wires
