Which connector size to choose? - 05.05.2009, 06:23 PM

Im looking to buy a 70mm motor and am wondering if the 4.0 mm bullet connector is going to be able to handle the current or if I should get the largest 5.5mm ones. Thanks for any help.

on my motor, 1512 I use the 5.5mm...IMO I'd go for the 5.5

1. MBX-6 T8 1900KV, RX8 ON 4S
2. MBX-5T 1520, MMM ON 5S
3. MBX-5 ONROAD CONVERSION 1515, MMM ON 5S
4. MRX-3 ON ROAD CONVERSION 1512, MMM ON 6S
5. TEN T 2650 T8, MMP ON 3S

I run 5.5mm on all motors, esc's, and batteries. Except my MMM combos that have 6.5mm on the motor to ESC connection.

Either the 5.5mms or the 6.5mms. I run 5.5mms on my 70 and 80mm motors and they run fine, but I'd go with 6.5s in the future for better MMM compatibility.

All I ever wanted was an honest weeks pay for an honest days work.
