Battery up front, or towards back? - 06.14.2009, 08:25 PM

There is always the middle too. I am mounting a battery box and I'm not sure where to mount it. I can put it towards the back like novak kits, or up front like the new losi kit.

If this is a track vehicle your gonna want the best balance possible, If it's basher set up the balance will still be a factor but not as much of a concern.

I retired from RC, now life is all about guns and long range shooting.

If you plan on tons of wheelies, you might want it towards the front. If you plan on.... lots of breaking?put it in the back. You could put the tray w/ a battery (or something similar in weight and size) on the truck and find the best balance point.
