Mac I was wondering if you were still working on that center diff conversion for the Gmaxx chassis and how it was going. And if you could an availability date would be great. Thanks

Mike,

I pointed qball over here about the diff you have been working on. He seems very interested in this conversion. Told him this would be the best place to get info on this.

Thanks

Yes, I am still tinkering with it. I have been extremely busy with many different projects (like this site!), but hope to have some ready soon. There is a post somewhere on the site about it. Also, I don't go by mac0326 on this site (as you can tell!). Welcome to the forums. Enjoy!

Congratulations on the site Mike, I wasn't aware that this venture was yours. I just wanted to check in on the progress of the center diff conversion, I'm looking to eliminate any weak links in my race truck and the tranny is definitely one of them. Anyhow congratulations on the store and site I just placed my first order of an Integy charger through you unknowingly and I look forward to placing more in the future, and if your up for any testing of your diff before release let me know lol!

Thanks Q

I just saw the order (and thought it was you!). Thanks. As you can see, I have been hard at work! I have another member or so on the testing list, but will keep you in mind as well. I will get your charger out tomorrow.

Yep, this will be my second one. Figured it will be really nice to have two as opposed to trying to charge 4 sets of 7 cell packs with just one 16/4. That way I can stay busy practicing at the new offroad track there building here.

Which Integy charger did you get?
Can it charge 2 7cell packs at a time?

Its the 16x4 charger. You can charge 2 7 cells packs at once but you will have to make a Y adapter like this:

Is this connection true for any charger that can handle up to 14-15cells?

If there is one battery lead on the charger and the 14-15 cells are made up of two packs, then yes, this will be the connector needed to make it work.
