starting savage when warm

starting savage when warm - 01.27.2006, 07:55 PM

my savage starts up easily when cold. but after its warmed up and i bring it in to make an adjustment, i have to crank and crank it with the rotostart to get it to run again. any suggestion? thanks for the help

it might have lost compression. its probably time for a rebuild.

If it doesn't need a rebuild, it needs a tune for sure. It should run rich until it gets warmed up. If it doesn't, it is probably too lean and getting too hot.
