Thats really cool, I had a pit pass to the races the other week (chicago f1) and they reved it up like that, a mechanic reved my jetta like that and drove it around like a maniac then showed me the turbo, friggin red hot. probobly need new bearings now but it was worth it. My car does run like crap now. I bet a new turbo is $1500

the point to me was, the headers (exhaust too) turbo and every thing got so hot it turned white on the f1s, thats friggin hot. They run like that for hours. Just amazing. If your car has a turbo drive it like a manic and look at the turbo under the hood, it was red hot. No point..just cool

Why do people risk their lives climbing mountains or jumping out of planes for fun? Answer = because they can. Its all in the name of enjoyment.

Seen the F1 car singing God save the queen on topgear a few series back- I want to do that with my truck... wander if you could connect the esc to a keyboard and have each note correspond to a different rpm value....

I have F1 in my blood, no sound like it.

In an 18,000 rpm engine, the pistons change direction 300 times per second.

That's music.

What metal are those headers made out of to withstand that kind of heat?

I could guess all day and still be wrong ? It could be a multitude of materials if not something exotic ?

That would be a excellent guess and the only one I could think of myself but still wasn't sure.
