what esc are u using? If you are using the new Tekin esc RX8, then you MUST connect A to A, B to B and C to C from the motor to the esc. If you are using a MMM or like esc, then it doesn't matter...just solder on the Tekin motor and then just rev. wires as needed for correct direction

1. MBX-6 T8 1900KV, RX8 ON 4S
2. MBX-5T 1520, MMM ON 5S
3. MBX-5 ONROAD CONVERSION 1515, MMM ON 5S
4. MRX-3 ON ROAD CONVERSION 1512, MMM ON 6S
5. TEN T 2650 T8, MMP ON 3S

When running a motor in sensorless mode, the order of the wires does not matter. If the motor is turning the wrong way, simply pick any TWO wires and reverse them. The ABC markings are for sensored only.

This has made a lot of people very angry and has been widely regarded as a bad move.

Ah ok thanks Marvin. Out of interest why three wires, - + but is the third some sort of backup negitive or the wire which controls the motor speed?

IT has 3 because it's brushless. You MUST use this motor with a brushless speed controller. Which Mamba are you using. The CC controllers will have black, red and white wires that must be all attached. IT doesn't matter which order they're attached as long as the motor rotates the right direction for your chassis. If it doesn't, swap two of the wires.
