It's a fairly Cheap setup....
KB45-700KV on 8S with fan on the motor
100Amp ESC
... that setup is able to run all day...
Now all of my GSTs are being fitted for the 1527s...

The tires make the truck look like it needs to be another 1" or so longer. Cool vid and pics.

Here's a recent update, those photos and videos where over a month old..
Okay, here’s the build pictures of the changeover from KB45s to Neu 1527..
It all started with these babies awaiting for more power from Neu.

Started with this piece of aluminum for making the mount.

Once I was done, I ended up with 3 mounts for all three GSTs..

This is what the end product looks like..

Here’s what each GST look like up close. All I need to do is make new battery trays for them, which will be easy. All three have Neu 1527.. 2 are identical setups…
#1 – 1527 1.5Y 850KV, Turnigy 12S100A ESC w/ PiStix on 8S-12S 5000mAh
#2 – 1527 1Y 1250KV, MGM 24160 ESC on 8S 5000mAh
#3 – 1527 1Y 1250KV, MGM 24160 ESC on 8S 5000mAh
#4 – Has been sold – Wish I never sold this either
#5 – Has been sold – Wish I never sold this either
#6 & 7 minus bodies are in parts box for repair and backup, lucky I haven’t had to use anything yet, but a few shocks.

I will post updates when I finish the battery trays setup.. They will look identical.
