Beware of user Mentat (ripoff!)

I wasn't sure where to post this, but I wanted to put my experience with Mentat so others know not to deal with him and this is a forum he frequents.
Mike and RCM, sorry if this is not the correct area.

Mentat, aka Marshal Todd Sadler (goes by Todd), ripped me off for $155. I met him initially by selling him a new Duratrax Raze ST truggy I had bought and not used. He had a lot of questions and I answered all of his questions about brushless and conversions. He purchased a few other items from me and we seemed to get along well, continuing to chat via PM and on Xfire, a program he told me to download and use to talk to him. On the last transaction, I sent him $155 for a used MMM combo he was selling. After payment was sent, I didn't get the items. Initially, he said he had sent the MMM ESC back to Castle for repair, something he had not mentioned (never said it was damaged, he said it was "like new"), but since we seemed to know each other, I had no problem with that. Time continued to go on and still no MMM combo. He said his wife was supposed to have sent the CC/Neu motor, but she forgot. After 3 weeks, he said Castle told him another 3 weeks before he gets the MMM back. I had not heard from him for about 2 weeks thereafter. Finally, on 9/5/09, he said that he would just refund me the $155 (along with sending me a few items he still owed me). Since then, I have not heard from him at all. All efforts to PM him have been ignored. All efforts of communiction via Xfire have been ignored. And he has recently deleted me as a "friend" on Xfire. A work phone number he had given me does not work (disconnected). It has been 2 months now with no MMM combo and virtually no communication. I had given him a long chance to make things right and thinking perhaps something was wrong, but I see him on Xfire and he continues to have activity there, but does not contact me.

Take this as warning if you deal with him and I hope the RCM members also take this into considering before giving him any help or advice.
