It certainly wouldn't help.
Generally, I try to keep magnetic fields and electro-magnetic fields away from my electronics as much as possible, most importantly away from my receiver. I guess it wouldn't hurt the motor, but I've see strange things happen when motor wires and power wires run through electro-magnetic fields.

Unless those magnets are moving (relative to the component) it shouldn't interfere with the electronics at all. If the magnet is near the motor wires then you may see them jump around a bit under throttle because there is a changing EM field inside the wire and it interacts with the field of the magnet. May I ask what you are using the magnets for?
I'd go velcro, but you may not see any ill affects. Because the magnetic field isn't changing direction constantly it may not affect the inbound signals to the receiver. It wouldn't affect the battery any way I can see.
