It wouldn't look very scale. The wide stance would make the body very wide compared to the length. You'd have to stretch the chassis and then use a 5th scale body or something...

Yes it can fit, with alterations.

I took about two inches off the width by marking it with a ~2 inch wide piece of painters tape. Then scored along both sides of it with a sharp hobby knife. Painted the body and used gorilla tape on the inside to hold it together (note you only get one chance to line up body right unless you want to mess up the paint). a strip of carbon fiber body sticker hides the seam.

Note pictures make green look MUCH lighter than it is

Body was a Proline desert rat for the slash

Note: I know my tires are backwards lol

Also no offset tires rub slightly without raising body or trimming more, but 1/2 offset tires work perfectly

IMO, it kinda defeats the whole purpose of the whole short course idea when the body doesn't cover the wheels/tires.

I got the proline body for a slash/slayer to fit on the Savage XL. I think it look cool, doesn't cover the wheels but I wasn't looking for the short course look. Just something that wasn't a truck. I just posted a thread about a free program to combine pictures to post. It the first picture. Only reason I posted was I am close getting close to 1000 and can't stand the wait... Also it should be possible to make it work like revo guy said with some trimming. I had to trim the wheel well so the tires don't rub on landing.
