Is 5/6amp bec enough? - 12.14.2009, 08:29 AM

I am using a turnigy 5/6amp bec to power my rx with telementry, 1 servo,1 fan & 1 amb. Is it enough?

Is it better I get power from rx or from bec?

Btw I using 4s 5000 lipo with mamba max.

Should I go through my rx or direct to my bec? I have only aux & batt slot one go to my telementry the other goes to my bec.

My amb has no slot can I do a y harness or direct soulder to my bec?

A y-harness would be fine but it would be better to plug the BEC into the batt slot, and plug the y-harness into the aux slot with the telemetry and amb hooked up to the y-harness.

I tried telementry on aux it does not work, only work on batt slot. So I did a y harness on the aux & put amb & telementry on it. It worked but do not know will the amb signal becomes weak.

The AMB signal shouldn't be weakened by being on a y-harness unless the telemetry unit is pulling big amps.
