S006 Alloy Shark - 12.25.2009, 08:53 AM

hiya guys,

I just got this as a lil christmas present. It comes with a 1s lipo battery (this one: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Syma-Alloy-Sha...50f3d0fd573692)

my question is, the charger it comes with is just a standard wall charger, it doesnt even have a timer or peak detector. I have a hyperion duo charger but it has deans on it so i cant hook up the lipo.
the lipo also doesnt have a balance tap, does a 1s lipo even need balancing? Do you think its safe to charge it using the supplied charger? the heli doesnt have a LVC or anything like that, it was only a like £35.

anyways thanks for any help provided as always!

balancing against what when you have just one cell :)

you can use RX pack (standard servo female connector on one end) charge lead for this type of battery. buy it or make it (easy just take servo extension and cut it or female connector with bit if wire and solder 4mm bannana jacks onto it)
