engineering scholarship essay results - 02.25.2010, 02:46 PM

sooooo some of you may have remembered helping me.. wait no... pretty much writing my essay

I got an email right now from my school.

In Response to your application and supporting documentation for “Engineering Program Scholarships – Spring 2010”

CONGRATUATIONS! You have been selected for the award of a $600.00 scholarship.

so lets see how this money will be divided up...
I will award jerry and finnster $150 each
Billygun $100
paralyzed, george and the pimp will get $50 each

which leaves me a grand total of 50 bucks!! HELLLLL YEAAAAA

all seriousness though..

I really do appreciate all the help you all gave to me in this essay.

couldnt have done it without you guys

If you all care.. the money will be going into my college fund and will probably pay for 2-3 books once im at ASU

Anyways you all have a great day!

-Ryan

Awesome!! You went outside the box and accomplished what you set out to do. I bet your parents are proud. Keep applying this same logic to your schooling, I see a bright future for you

WOW that is great to hear. Glad we could help in a way that made you stand out from the crowed. Make sure you use that money wisely for school related stuff. If I were you I would go back and re-read the whole thread and try to remember some of the good advice you received from various memebers in here.

Congrats racer. Is that all they gave you though? I would have thought it would be more, at least a $1000?

Can I have mine all in ones? Linc promised me a dance if you won and I don't want to stuff any of my things in his bikini.
Check that.. just gimme Harold's share for the stuffings, as we all know that is where it will end up anyway...

Lol, seriously tho, congrats on your efforts! Keep up the practice and only good things will come.
