On your pictures, the center driveshafts a way more angled then on the AE one
Is this due to the RCM Chassis ?

I want to keep all AE stuff , just replace the Motormount with RCM

Does that work ?

kind regards

Yes it is due to the RCM Chassis. Yes, I had the RCM mount for the RC8/RC8T in the Associated nitro chassis before switching.

I would try the Losi 8t battery mount though as opposed to the Associated one; slightly bigger and people have mentioned having good results with it.

Most people use the Elite or Grid mounts on the Associated gear. Not a fan of the Grid one myself as it uses external bearings, and the Elite one is always out of stock :(
