MMP in high temps - 06.25.2010, 12:02 PM

Has anyone been able to test out the mmp in a 1/8scale on 4s in 90*+ weather? I am a little afraid to run my mmp in my Ve8 when the outdoor temps get really high.

The MMP has two temperature sensors on board, and these are continuously monitored. So if it shuts down during run, you know it's getting too hot.

Yeah i have been noticing a few new rtr's that are running the mmp on 4s. I was just worried because i have read about people having trouble with the set up if the fan dies. Are the fans stronger than the ones used by tekin? I can barely get 5min out of a tekin fan on my rx8.

I think the fairest thing to say is some people have no problems with the fans castle use on their escs, other guys have different experiences, lol.

They are cheap to replace though, just 'normal' 25x25mm 6v DC fans- hit up ebay etc.
