hey guys
anyone out there in brushless land tried or heard anything about the hobbywing 1/8th brushless motors? am considering one of the 2000kv units for my truggy

i have. i got the 150 amp 2000 kv and the 80 amo 2250 kv motor the 150 amp with the 200 kv motor is in my xr 80 on road here

and the the 80 amp 2250 is going in my monster gt which i am still working on will have pic soon.....these or great motor my on road is doing about 77 mph low heat to the motor after about 5 high speed passes

I have 2 of the 2000kv ones. Been great. Both are used on my truggies.

I have the 2000kv one (2nd gen) and it has been great pushing a 6kg truck on 4S and 6S. Very smooth motor that runs cool and power seems very close to Castle motors. I did change the bearings in it after about 6 months use but I really did it as a precaution. Wasn't all that sure about chinese bearings and their quality.

I don't agree with others. I used two different models of these motors and not pleased with them. They run hotter than the feigao motors and can't even compare with a castle/neu. If you're low on budget go for feigao they run much cooler than hobbywing.
