monster warranty - 07.25.2010, 04:05 PM

Hi, my mamaba monster esc died today (while leading the 2nd heat after winning the 1st heat by 3 laps ) had a rather hard landing from the tripple drove for another 50 yards and died, steering works, but no power to motor or chimes when turned on :-(
I bought it brand new from an e bay trader based in the states last februrary but cant find my receipt (I'm in the UK), would a copy of my paypal transaction be sufficient?
What is the actual warranty, 6 or 12 months?

looks like i'm going to miss at least 2 meetings of the autum championship at least

Warranty period is 12 months.

I think this would be a good time to think about picking up a spare MMM, especially if you are racing. You won't have to miss any races this way....

The warranty is one year from the date of purchase. The purchase has to be made by a reseller and not an individual. The warranty is not valid if purchased from an individual, regardless if it was new or not at the time of purchase. If you have any questions or concerns regarding warranty claims, please contact our repair depart at repairs@castlecreations.com or call them at (913) 390-6939 ext 2.

The seller was a business not an individual so would the warranty still be valid?
