Lehner Basic questions - 04.08.2006, 10:13 PM

I have heard good things about the 5300 and used the 4200 but has anyone tried the 3100. It looks like a good motor but I have never heard anyone talk to much about it. Seems it would be a good choice for 1/10th scale trucks like a stampede or t4. Why no interest in this motor?

It is slow on 6 cells. It would be an excellent motor for 4s Lipo, though.

I run a 1920/10(around 3100kv) on 3s in a MF2 with a 18.97 and it's peachy,very smooth.the basic 4200 is a bit of a maniac on 3s.I think the basic 3100 should be great in 1/10th stadiums on 10-12 cells or 3-4s lipo.

So it takes a lot of cells to get it going. I see, thanks.

The problem i'm having with the Losi is it basically it turns into an aeroplane at about 50mph,that's with the 4200 on 3s,i need to make some kind of front wing before i run the 1920 on 4s.I'm running the FXT losi body without the rear wing, the rear wing makes it worse. It's quite good fun though.:005:
