So I sold My LX1-E... AND my E-Revo.... both as rollers... in order to fund my winter, indoor racing venture and vehicle...
After trying to decide for a while what to buy, and giving it MUCH thought, I opted for the Ofna Hyoer 9E.
The kit is very nice with only a couple glaring shortcomings.. like they give you Proline dish wheels... Prolime M3 crimefighters.. descent all around tires... and then they toss in crappy ofna foams.. I used some old proline closed cell foams from my year old, daily basher SC truck... they were no good for new SC tires.. but were perfect fit in the buggy tires... The only other issue I can see is that the design clearly was made with a 36mm motor diameter in mind... and as such, with the use of the stock spur and the pinion that comes in the kit, you cant mesh the gears properly without having the center diff drive cup rub on the motor... I will be calling Ofna monday about this... I think a bugger spur will solve the problem.
Oh.. and just a quick note on the instructions.. its about 20% Electric model pages.. basically, just parts lists and such.. the rest of the manual is all NItro... Just lazy... Even comes in a Hyper 9 Nitro box...
the roller is put together better than my LX1-e was, but still suffers from leaking center diff just the same, however the front and rear diffs seem fine unlike the LX1...
so.. quick spec on the electronics i used...
