Tekin rx8 1700 kv. - 12.17.2010, 02:39 PM

Hey RC-monster

I have decided to throw tekin rx8 1700 kv truggy combo in my 8ight t 2,0 E on 5s lipo. how should it be geared. Should only be used on track.
And does it get hot on 5s lipo?

Magnus

That 1700kv should run well on 5s - gearing would be about the same as a 2200kv on 4s.

That's what I run in my Losi 8 Truggy and it's pretty ballistic if you wanna pull full thottle. I'd run that on 4S in a Buggy and it will be very race oriented. On 5S you will have to do a lot of tuning through HotWire to get good lap times on a track.
