Any fix for the mamba max and 64bit windows in sight? - 01.03.2011, 06:48 PM

I am running into the problem where my 64bit machine's will not acknowlede that my mamba max is connected.

I ran into this problem some time ago and cant remember the work around.

Any insight?

Also what is the highest firmware that supports 4s lipo cutoff on the mamba max? Yes i know it would be out of warranty.

Its works fine - Just use the latest or I think at least 1.24/5 and then use the castle link dongle with it rather than usb port.

The onboard USB doesn;t have a 64bit driver but the castlelink mimics a HID and works fine on 64bt

PS I think they all take 4s

I cant update the firmware if my comp doesnt recognize the MM. I tried the dongle, the usb port. updated my castle link program etc. no avail

You need to use an older PC to flash to at least 1.25/6 maybe and then you can use the dongle...

Its your only fix...

Winter break actually... all 64bit machines in my house...

not allowed to bring rc to school... I'd get no work done!

^^^ guys got it, win7 windows XP emulator works. you have to re-attach it as USB after updates to the ESC and what not, not too tough to figure out I think, been awhile since I've done it though.
