Wanted to Buy: glow plug wrench - 01.10.2011, 12:35 AM

I'm looking for one of those loosely X shaped wrenches used for glow plugs. The Savage Flux wheel nuts are 8mm (same as glow plugs) and I don't have a good tool for removing them....
I had purchased a Hoboa glow plug wrench X wrench, but it just slips off the nut....can't tighten or loosen with it...

If someone has an extra one they think will work I'd love to take it off your hands for kinda cheap...probably just USA offers to keep the shipping lowish.

Thanks!!
PM to work out prices and payment as per rules :)

A normal socket doesn't work well enough?

I'd like something more...I dunno, universal? I don't have a full socket set, nor do I want to carry a ratchet and socket with me to the track / bash. It's just handy to have the tool that works, and removes wheels from all my cars quickly and easily.
But I have been using a socket thus far, and will continue until I get the more convenient item.

Ratchets are kind-of a pain for wheel nuts... Maybe pick up one of these?

It's a lot easier to spin than a ratchet and you can just keep the socket on there...

How about just buying an 8mm nut driver?

bought a nut driver, not enough leverage to let me get the nuts as tight as I want. Maybe the handle on mine is too skinny...what I do now is use it for the bulk of the screwing, and use the socket to get it tight and loosen it.

I have something that I use for screwing, but it does not have a handle...

I prefer the socket, as all of the glow wrenches I have do not seem to fit the savage wheel nuts very well.
