Castle Reps help pls - ICE HV ESC, Anodising and Warrenty -
03.08.2011, 12:16 PM
Hi Castle Reps,
I have just bought an Ice HV 160amp brand new off ebay...
I am just wondering if my warrenty will be void if i remove the green alloy cooling fins?
I want to get them re anodised in red while i do the rest of the truck.
Will i void warrenty?
Is it difficult or as simple as taking the MMM apart?
Do you sell or out of kindness send me new castle stickers that go on the top of the ESC
???

The sinks are bonded to the fets. To remove them would risk damaging them so wouldn't be covered
De anodizing in situ risks exposing esc to nasty chemicals so can't see that being covered either.
In short - do it at your own risk IMO
