All buggies are pretty much geared the same, and are pretty much the same weight, so if one buggy is fast then they pretty much all are. However if you wanna go fast like that on pavement then just buy a car made for the pavement. just my .02

im just using some cheap 30c 5000mah batteries. Buggy has held up fine, only broke a turnbuckle on one of the front upper arms so far. But i have only ran 5 batteries through it so far

Yes! The LX-1E is a great buggy for the price.

You can use it stock for offroad bashing. OR add a Ofna GTP Bumper set (2 Screws) and zip tie the suspension to slam around the street. My DAD has this buggy and we do both, just as mentioned above. He runs 5-6s on the MMM 2650 combo stock gearing. 14/51. Thing blows past my 8ight 14/43 gearing and only problem we have is, not finding a belted offroad tire. The GRP Rally tires work Great for street. See my thread for my 8ight, I will get some pics of my dads LX for you...

Highly Recommended for the price...

EDIT: Josh this buggy is NOT geared the same as usual buggies, I believe the F/R diffs are 44/14 not 43/13.

You can probably reach 75-80 easy with foams and 6s. Blow away the rustler

Maxx - FLM, MMM, CD Med.36x706s
Raja - FLM Ext. MM, 1512, 4s
SC8ight - MMM, 1520, 6s

I use These: http://cgi.ebay.com/Kyosho-Inferno-G...item35ad8509f4

I know they work great! We do alot of high speed drifting/Drag racing Foams probably wouldnt hold up to my style of driving!

No Diff problems at all... Since February. The the 2650 even on 5s is a Handful. I only use 4s but gear higher... I would use 5s but I only have a Mamba Max right now....

This is my 8ight. Ill try and get some good pics of my dads and maybe vids this weekend
