mmm esc help in e revo running a dx 3.0 tx

i just got back my MMM esc and 1515 motor from castle and it won't calibrate

i do not have the castle link to find out what firmware its running to see if this is an issue with my spectrum dx3.0 tx
also the fan is running as soon as i switch it on

it just continues to flash all colors the steering works
tried new rx same thing happens spent a good 2 hours trying and its just flashes and all i can do is curse at it and post here for some help

the radio works with my 1st gen mamba max and ez run combo

Most calibration issues can be solved by settings on the transmitter. Make sure you have both your throttle and brake endpoints (called EPA or ATV on your radio) on the throttle channel out to 100 to 120%. If you have a Futaba or Futaba made transmitter, set the throttle channel to the reversed position. Also, if you have a quick brake adjust (usually labeled “A” or “B” near your thumb position on the transmitter, make sure it too is out to 120%.
