40 series adaptors help please - 05.20.2006, 10:42 PM

Ok, i know i read up on this in a thread and now can't find it back, can someone help me figure out why i have binding now that i put the adaptors in? I'm sure it's because i have the spacers in wrong so it's stopping the bearings somehow. So if someone can give me a quick answer on how and where to put the spacers in? Location wise? Please??????? Thank you!!!!!!!!! :035:

The spacers go inbetween the wheel pin and the bearing. The Prolines tend to stay stuck on the shaft so be careful.

Thank you squee, that's my problem! i got them between the pin to the bearing, AND betweent the shaft and the bearing on the otherside! DUH, i remember reading that! they came with four, so all four should go between the pin and bearing? or the amount needed for a "good" fit but not too tight right? THANKS A MILLION! Yes, they are the prolines! should have gottne the DACE! Oh well, they will work!

Yes, just use as many as needed. Just don't use to many. There should be a SMALL bit of play. Just enough so it doesn't bind.

I think that is the problem. It is not really the location you have the spacers in but how many you have. I ran like 2 a axle on mine. that seemed to work great.

Peace!
