UE Diffs, grease? - 06.10.2006, 01:30 PM

I am putting together the UE 8 Spyders. I have my oils in, but not sure if Multipurpose grease will work on the outside for the pinions and what not? It's from the Auto Store for bearings and other lubable (if that's a word) parts. It's #2 Grade Lithium grease (multi purpose). Will this be ok? Thanks as usual guys! Almost done!

I would probably go for some Associated black grease but that might work. I'm not really sure to be honest.

Thanks Squee, much appreciated. Any other opinions? Squee, you run HB's right?

No, I don't have a Maxx anymore, but I do have the HB's in my LSP Pro-R (obviously...).

I use standard automotive grease for the spur pinion on all my diffs, including the spyder8's.
just dont flood the gear with grease, less is more.

Both trucks have changed alot; especially the nitro truck. I'm gonna try and get some more recent pictures soon.
