mambamax 4600kv and e-maxx q's ? - 07.29.2006, 09:12 AM

Hi !

How fast woud a rustler or T4 go with a mambamax 4600kv motor on 6cells and how fast on 3s 6000mah lipos ?
woud í get much longer runtimes with the 4600kv motor than with the 5700kv one ?
i'd like to de topspeeds of 45-60mph.

I have a e-maxx question also:027: if i put some pro-line crimefigter and velocety rims and 2st 2s 4000mah lipo packs in a e-maxx woud i get a very noteble preformance increase ?i think that woud drop 660grams of dead weight of a emaxx truck:017:

The T4 should go about 35mph with the 4600 on 6 cells, and 40-45 on 3s Lipo. It's hard to estimate the difference in runtime, since the gearing would be different.
For a top speed of 45-60mph, you'd want to get the 5700 to use with 3s Lipo. It would still be quite fast on 6 cells (like a 9-10t brushed motor).

Are you talking a stock Maxx? If so, it would certainly help (it would help pretty much no matter what). I think you could get away with 5S. A member hear said that the EVX was good for 18+ cells with minor mods. Simply put the 2s on the BEC side and the 3S on the other and it should be ok. I am not positive though. Maybe Metalman knows.

The EVX does draw its BEC power from only one battery, but that means that that battery will be drained faster. If one wanted to use Lipos with the EVX, they would need two LVC devices, one on each battery, or at minimum one on the 2s battery.
