MIP center cvd with single speed conversion

Hi

I just assembled my MIP center cvd on to my E-maxx. I am using the G-maxx single speed conversion also.

When I am done assembling, it seems like the dogbone on the front of the car, isn´t that far into the outdrive cup. I think it will work anyway, but do you guys have any experience, with this combination?

It doesn't matter if you use the singlespeed or the 2speed.

Is it possible that you are using the gmaxx frame?

I am using an MIP centershaft on mine as well, just don't push the CVD all the way onto the shaft. it works well on mine.

Thanks for the quick reply. Yes I am using the Gmaxx frame too. I will try not to push it all the way onto the shaft.

And the cup, which is on the diff, is best positioned with the setscrew onto the hole in the pinion. I used a few shimms to get it aligned right.

I thought you used the g-maxx chassis, more people are having issues with the length of the shafts. UE shafts need to be positioned in the middle with the help of silicone hose, otherwise they almost fall out.

Oh yeah, it is ofcourse the G-maxx x-brace chasis I am using, like on the pictures. Thought you ment that.

I will try to make it work, but it have been pooring down with rain in Denmark all day, so I better wait till tomorrow.

Try to line up the set screws with the holes in the output shaft. Thats what I did when I had my E (with the MIP's in center). This always seemed to space everything correctly.
