I would change a few things. I would go with the MRC 989, Nomadio React, RD Racing knuckles and 8mm axle kit (RPM knuckles wear out quick), Dace adapters (instead of Proline, if you don't get the RD), and I would go with Crime Fighter MTR's instead of 40 series.

I actually say stick with the stock knuckles and run Traxxas Hurricanes and Responses. Or, just run Dace. The RD ones are nice, but they limit your choices. With Dace, you can switch as you please.

I agree with squee on the MTR instead of 40 series.

However, I say the Ice is fine. Its a great charger.

I'd also say doubling up on the batteries. One charging/resting and one running. Cuts your wait time down significantly.

Spring wise, you will need something alot stiffer. I'd say start with the standard LT springs (silver/blue).

Instead of a DX3, I'd get a CRX with a Pro DSM (and Telemetry if you want it).

The CRX is an awesome radio (I have one). The Pro DSM has a faster response time (hey, why not - I have this too and I love it). DX3.0 is too flashy to me too. Almost distracting.

For your Power Supply, drop by Hobby people and pick up their ProPeak one. 20A for $60. For $80, you can get one that has dual outputs and gives a digital readout of what amps you are pulling. (PS. I've only ever gotten it up to 10A with my Ice charging 4S at 8A).

Forget all that Integy crap on your steering column. Its a waste of money, stock is fine. Also forget the shock mounts - stock is fine.

Also, forget RPM arms. Stock is fine (never broke one on my G2R or Revo 2.5R "knock on wood"). Until you break one stick with stock. Use the extended rear arms as well. Part 5333R btw...

Use a Pro-Line CP 3.3 body if you can...my Pro-Line body is nice and sturdy...you will need something sturdy for such a heavy truck on the track...

You are really underestimating the stock Revo parts. I'd say a stock Revo is already stronger than anymaxx except a supermaxx.

BL Revo: CF G2R, LMT1940/7, 6S FP 30C Lipos, MMM, Hitec 5955TG
CRT .5: 7075 Ext Chassis, LMT1930/7, FP 25C 3S Lipos, MM

As i said this is the eventually list this means i will run the car stock cuz it is good stock for a while and slowly upgrade to these parts. BTW the reason i am getting proline 23mm hexhubs is becasue tekno has a deal for 100 bucks you get any 40 series 23mm wheel, any tire and 4 23mm hubs for 100 and the same deal goes for standard size tires but the deal is 80 bucks i would prefer dace but for the price of wheels and tires it is like you get the hubs for free cant pass that up but i can change tires. As for the radio i like it personally so that is why. A will check out the RD 8mm kit never seen before thanks and new springs thanks.

Here is the link. The main advantage is that it allows larger bearings and 8mm axles. Another thing about them is that there the only aluminum knuckles that allow the use of the dust boots (they were, there might be some others that do now). See the Revo bearings tend to blow out and the axles tend to bend with the 23mm hubs. The store is down now, but the knuckles are $100 and the 8mm axle kit with 23mm hubs is $100 as well. So $200 for both. You can use the knuckles without the 8mm kit, but not the 8mm kit without the knuckles.
