Twisted Half Shafts? - 11.14.2006, 04:22 PM

I broke my rear bulkheads so I took it apart and it looks like twisted my front, rear and centers!:005:

You think they are twisted?? :032: :) There's still some live in them... I have twisted some to brezels, but most times they snap.

Yeah, I know they go quick. Try BL on them.

Nice parts lay-out, btw. A stocker all in pieces.

I am using cvd's in center and cvd's in the rear with my lightweight maxx.

If you buy new bulks, get the ones from the t-maxx 3.3.

I would get the 3.3 setup. You won't have that problem and you won't have to get CVD's when you go BL.

Well Its going to be awhile before BL. For now Ill have to Upgrade the drivetrian and stuff. Im going to get the 3.3 just intell I get the traxxas ones. 3.3 drivetrian, 3.3 knuckles, 3.3 red turnbuckles, Integy diff cups, and FLM diff with 3mm's. That will be good.

Won more thing If I have Blue bulks, lower braces, skid plate, and blue batterys would a blue or red rc soution roll cage look good. Can't decide on color!

They only have a little twist. I have had cvds twist that much. :)

The Traxxas red aluminum turnbuckles won't work on a Maxx I don't think....

I checked the part numbers and they are different...I think they are 112mm. The dead give away though is the fact that the Maxx ones aren't the same length, but the Revo ones are...

Ok! I measured the front and rear. It was kind of hard. It come out to like
front 135 rear 145 or so. Didn't take wheels off so may be off some.

one time my Emaxx shafts had nearly a full turn on them and still going

People here hate Nitro, I love it. I start it, run it about 50 ft from me and it dies, I go after it. Perfect exercise
