Do you have a sensorless brushless system? Cogging is like stuttering caused by the motor. If it happens, it happens during the first few percent of the throttle.

No, I have a bone stock emaxx. Im using maxxamps 6000mah lipos. Sometimes I get a stutter just as you described. It has happened at various points throughout the charge of the pack, but not always.:002:
Could be radio glitching, could be a bad speedo...
Does it do it consistently under a certain condition, like accelerating from a dead stop? Or when it's far away etc? Does it do it after it's up to speed or only under accel?
"Cogging" is a brushless-specific glitch... that happens when the esc is trying to get the motor to start spinning, and it's "confused" and can't fire the motor correctly. Usually there isn't any cogging once the car is moving even a few mph. Once the motor is up to a certain rpm it normally stops.
From what I remember its normally from a dead stop or very near it then goosing the throttle. I suppose it could be the lvc jumping in under heavy load, but it seems to have happened at a fresh charge a time or two.

You could lower the cutoff value, or remove/disable the LVC temporarily to see if that is the problem.
