just got my e revo running -

heres some pics of my set up it works!! just got the motor mount done, worked perfect, now i just need to get some good power and charger, was pretty slow with 2 2000mah batts. and hv maxx 4.5

Yea. Looks realy good. But you are right about those batteries.... They are poop.

them poor batteries had to be screaming for mercy on that 4.5
Work because i gotta, play because i wanna
People here hate Nitro, I love it. I start it, run it about 50 ft from me and it dies, I go after it. Perfect exercise

yep they got a little warm after 5 min, i just need to get a charger and good packs to start, then ill work into lipo

Another E-revo! good news!! Nice job, indeed, the batteries are the source for the power of the setup, if they can't hold up with the setup, the setup won't be as powerfull as it should be.
With the right cells, it's a fast setup, running that 2 speed transmission!

Get some real batteries and report on them, im sure you will love the power.
The problem with nitro's these days are that they arent brushless... LOL

yeah ill let you know , im thinking maxamps 8ooomah @ 14.8, with mrc 989 charger, but am moving next weekend across country so no extra cash at this time
