Mini Quake -
01.16.2007, 06:10 PM
I decided to pick up one of these since now that I'm finally satisfied with my BL e-maxx. And of course I had to put a BL into the mini as well.
mini-quake
GH 4700 motor
Mamba 25 esc
3s lipo
No pictures yet but they will come soon. I haven't raced this against the e-maxx but seems like it can keep up.
e-maxx
9xl motor
quark 125 esc
16 gp3300
If anyone is interested in another vehicle, you will love this thing. It's easy to wrench on, inexpensive(especially compared to BL e-maxx), and fun to drive.

People here hate Nitro, I love it. I start it, run it about 50 ft from me and it dies, I go after it. Perfect exercise

I've got a MQ SE with a GH4700 also. It's a heck of a fun little truck.

aargh..pictures will have to come next week when parts come in since I broke the arms and front shocks last night running into a cinder block at about 25mph.
The only downside is that I can really run it at full throttle because you won't be able to control it and do countless cartwheels unless you're an excellent driver :)

Man sounds harsh running into a cinder block at 25 man that must have been painful for you to watch and your car but man you only broke 2 shocks and the arms that is pretty good cause on a normal truck a lot more would have broke like bulks, shocktower, bumper, and lots of others. YOu are talking about the maxx right what kind of shocks are you running and what kind of arms also did you bend the shock shaft or snap the shock body. Pics would be nice thanks.

When I first got my RC18T, I drove it right down the drain on the side of the street! Didn't think it would fit...all of a sudden, my little truck disappeared. I was like.."where the hell did it go?" Went around the corner, and there was a drain there! Went into the house, got a coat hanger, and pulled it out! When I was fishing for it while laying on the ground, a lady that was driving by asked if I was ok. I said yeah, just getting my toy out of the drain. She really looked at me funny! When I pulled the truck out, she was like "oh, I have seen you out here before with a bigger one!" It was too embarrasing man!
