MRC 989- quick Q - 02.18.2007, 10:20 PM

Hi,

How do you connect the MRC 989 charger to a battery that has a Deans female on it (trying to charge NiMH and no balancer). Do you have to solder a Deans male on the 989?

http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXNCU4&P=7 is a splitter is this whats needed or does it come with the 989?

Thanks.

the charger comes with a set of alligator clips, and another set with a tamiya plug. you can either change the tamiya plug to a deans male or just connect the black (-) alligator clip to the neg on the deans and the red alligator to the positive.

I just took the one lead that had the alligator clips on them & unsoldered them and put my deans on inplace of them...works great, and was easy to do
