989 ??????'s - 03.19.2007, 05:20 PM

well i have had a 989 for about a week now and love it but have a few ???'s

when i charge batts and there fully charged, just topping them off, it will charge them to a point and then say there done, idk if its right because i got some gp 3300 and it will say theres 600 mah and then go into trickle, is that saying it put that much mah into the pack, or thats what its at??

i havent ran the packs so i thinkn they need to be discharged then charged, it works for my other batts, im just wondering what happens when i want to top a pack off

The 600mAh is what it put into them. If you want to really see what kind of capacity they have, discharge them to 0.9V/Cell and then recharge them after they've cooled off from discharging.

0.9V/Cell is pretty typical for NiMh (5.4V total)

5-8mV should work out pretty good for delta peak detection

I use a 3mv or the zervo peak setting, which is less than 1mv on my Ice and it works perfect. It depends on the charger and batteries though.
