Thumbs up Stamped weights vs Brushless setups - 05.31.2005, 02:12 PM

Ok, Im new on this forum I just wanted to get some input on the stampede im building.

I ordered a complete aluminum chassis (fastlane kit) with normal length arms. I already have a swami skid plate on the rear, Imex Claw Dogs (I think they are heavier then stock not sure) And an SS58000 system for it.

I hear good things about the torque the 5800 has to offer, so I went ahead and got the beefiest chassis I could find for my pede. I imagine it should at least break even or better with the brushed motor and stock chassis I was running. Should I only use some parts of the metal chassis to cut weight? I plan on beating the hell out of this truck on some jumps. Does anyone else have this full metal pede chassis and how does it perform on repeated abuse? :L:

Thanks for any info
